rendezvous Time For Events
This page describes a Time For Events (TFE) collaboration: I attend your event, document it, and deliver a curated photo set. No invoice. Both sides receive practical usage rights for promotion.
Use this link when reaching out: it explains the protocol, inputs I need, and operational constraints.
- DELIVER 10–200 edited photos (event-dependent), web + print resolution
- FOCUS people, atmosphere, acts, venue details, sponsor moments (if requested)
- TURNAROUND typically 1–14 days for a first batch, up to 4 weeks for full set
- COST €0 (collaboration). Optional paid extensions available if needed.
If you want me on-site, send a short briefing. I’ll confirm feasibility and any constraints.
- Date + time window + location (city + venue name)
- Type (conference, meetup, festival, concert, workshop, etc.)
- Access (press pass / guest list / organizer contact on-site)
- Priority shots (keynotes, speakers, sponsor booth, group photos)
- Publishing goals (website, socials, aftermovie thumbnails, press kit)
The following defaults are designed for low-friction collaborations. They can be extended if necessary.
1. Scope
- The organizer grants the photographer WieErWill event access for photography at the agreed time and location. A named on-site contact is recommended for fast clearance.
- Coverage typically includes visitors, acts/speakers, venue atmosphere, and selected details (signage, sponsor areas, setup/behind-the-scenes if permitted).
- Typical on-site coverage ranges from 1–6 hours depending on event size and schedule.
2. Deliverables
- Delivery is a curated set of edited photographs via download link. Quantity depends on event density and constraints (usually 10–200).
- Turnaround: first batch usually within 1–14 days, full set within 1–4 weeks.
- Additional deliverables (same-day highlights, speaker portraits, brand pack, heavy retouching) can be agreed separately.
3. Usage rights (collaboration)
- Both parties receive non-exclusive usage rights for event promotion and documentation (web, social, print, press release).
- Rights are unlimited in time and geography for these purposes unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- Third-party licensing (agencies, sponsors, commercial resellers) is not included by default and requires explicit written agreement.
4. Credits
- When publishing, credit is expected where reasonable: Photo: WieErWill plus one link to a relevant channel (website or Mastodon).
- Likewise, I will credit the event/organizer when publishing event material.
5. Editing & integrity
- The delivered photos must not be materially altered (retouching/manipulations that change meaning). Allowed: cropping, resizing, mild color filters, text overlays.
- If brand compliance requires changes, coordinate with me and I will provide a revised export.
6. Safety, restrictions, and privacy
- Organizer must communicate any restrictions in advance (no-flash zones, minors policy, consent wristbands, restricted areas).
- If the event requires a consent workflow (e.g., opt-in portraits), the organizer provides operational support to enforce it.
7. Cancellation
- Cancellation up to one week prior is free of charge.
- Cancellation within 48 hours may incur a coordination fee of €50 (unless due to force majeure).
8. Liability
- No liability for simple negligence except injury to life/body/health. For other damages caused by gross negligence or breach of essential duties, liability is limited to foreseeable damages.
- The organizer is liable for damage to equipment if caused by organizer fault or unsafe event operations.
9. Law and amendments
German law applies. Amendments must be in writing; email is sufficient. If any clause is invalid, the remainder stays effective (severability).
If you’re an organizer: send the briefing and a contact person. If you’re unsure whether your event fits TFE, propose it anyway — worst case we decline cleanly.
