The Fairchild-Dornier 328JET is a commuter airliner, based upon the turboprop-powered Dornier 328, developed by the German aircraft manufacturer Dornier Luftfahrt GmbH. It would be the last Dornier-designed aircraft to reach production before the company’s collapse during the early 2000s. The passenger airplane brings 15t takeoff mass on the runway with just 3t payload, but achieves a remarkable speed of about 700km/h. It has a range of up to 2000km with 32 passengers and 2 crew members.
