Even in winter times with snow and ice the airport augsburg is clearing the runway. Beeing a small airport with a single landing/starting strip, about 200 to 400 daily take offs and arrivals are a great achievement. Many private and cargo flights destinate here, as an pulsating gain for the regional companies. Next to the businesses, the gliding club has it’s workingspaces right here to be ready for take off.
And for anybody who doesn’t want to get up, theres a mini-golf course right next to the runway.
