My name is Lisa Hennig, and I am the Medical Director at the CarePlus Health Network. In our clinics, we have identified an increasing need to enhance our capabilities in monitoring patient data to ensure better and more proactive patient care. For this reason, we would like to initiate the HealthGuard project, a comprehensive system for monitoring patient health in real-time.
Our goal is to develop a system that can integrate data from various medical devices, such as heart monitors, ventilators, and blood pressure monitors, in real-time. This integration must be seamless and ensure continuous data transmission to provide our medical professionals with the most up-to-date information. Furthermore, the system should be capable of automatically detecting critical changes in conditions and triggering appropriate alarms.
We are particularly interested in incorporating a data analysis module that can identify patterns in patient data to detect potential health issues early on. Another important aspect is the development of a user-friendly interface that allows doctors and nursing staff to interact effectively with the system without the need for extensive technical training.
Data protection is our highest priority. The system must comply with the strictest national and international data protection standards to ensure the security and confidentiality of patient data. We expect you to provide robust encryption and access control mechanisms in your architecture.
The main stakeholders of this project, in addition to our doctors and nursing staff, are the patients themselves and their families, who expect a transparent and secure processing of health data. Technical teams responsible for the maintenance and support of the system also play a critical role and must be involved in the development process.
